daisyworld

Produced in 2018, Daisyworld brings transparent glass shells and moving image into the same installation. The screen becomes a contained model of an environment while the relief acts as both material surface and optical lens. Image and object remain distinct but continually interfere with one another. In retrospect, the project anticipates a concern that returns throughout Zábrodský’s later practice: systems leave physical traces, and every attempt to stabilise a world inside a model also reveals that model’s limits.
